Country wanderer; 1889 arrived NSW; Secretary of Sydney branch of Coachbuilders Union, 1904 occupied presidential chair of Sydney Trades and Labor Council. 1912 arrived Bundaberg; Pres Workers’ Political Organisation, Bundaberg ;

ALP MLA, Qld, Musgrave 22 May 1915-9 Oct. 1920 contested E. Toowoomba 1923, Buranda 1920..1926 returned to Sydney.
